Cartagena des Indië’s de Colombia

Hello friends and family in Holland😁 como estas???

Welcome to Colombia Cartagena and welcome to the carrebean part of South America!

Hughe modern hotels near the sea,  the authentic center of Cartagena ( a must see) and a bit more land inwards the less safe / poor areas, I am in the center among the locals, some toerists and backpackers, lots of hostels and lots of refugees from Venezuela at the moment, is it even on the news in Holland? Iam curious as the problem is enormous

My experiences till date;  Nice host family, bedroom, bathroom etc is like....ehmmm basic, and I mean BASIC,..., Clean? I hope so, dont dare to look everywhere haha

Muskito bites, about 40! It really sucks, insectspray ;   not working

alcohol in the blood;  not working you just dont feel it / them for a while gheghe

Sleep with the sheets over my head; too bloody hot, not working, collecting the most bites during daytime anyway

Daytime; busy with my Spanish course, its not easy, back to school!, Current mind set: wtf was I thinking, Will I actuallly speak Spanish in 4 weeks...?

In the evening, hang out with my roomies from Switzerland that also stay at this family,  go out for diner, sit in at the Plaza de Trinindad right in front of the house, there is always something happening and very crowded each night, I went to the gym twice, Study.....😓

Here in Cartagena you have the nicest streets, I have seen models shooting pics with crew, light and changing clothes etc etc , I witnessed recording a videoclips of some singer ( female, looked realy beautiful and singing out load during the shoots) and I just missed Will Smith, apparantly he is shooting a new movie and there was a scene in the street right in front of where I stay

This weekend I will visit 2 islands near Cartagena coast, they are called bora bora and Island del sol,  both part of the group of Islands called the Rosario Islands.

Another 2 or 3 weeks in Cartagena
